About Author: Aburva Govindarajan is a student of Indian School Sohar, Sultanate of Oman. She has been learning Bharatnatyam for seven years. She has played and enacted prominent roles in major dance programs organized at Sohar and Muscat Her interests are multifaceted and not only limited to dance. She has been involved in various spheres of activities such as value education programs, yoga practices and martial arts. She has won prizes in sloka chanting, declamation and elocution. In her spare time, she is into paintings, stone art and craft works.
