About Book: Our happiness in life often rests on the relationships we nurture with people and things around us. Sometimes, these relationships uplift us and sometimes they break us. This is a collection of twelve short stories based on real experiences of simple people who are often neglected or lost in the intricate web of life. The stories are an attempt to reflect their emotions, dilemmas, loss, pain and personal struggles. The characters represent the common man or woman ensconced in their mundane lives, yet who have their own stories to tell.
About Author: Mrs. Lovely Dutta Prusty, was a Radio Jockey with A.I.R Dibrugarh, Assam and a freelance writer during her college years. Born in Shillong in 1972, the author had taken to writing from a very young age. Her poems, short stories, travelogues and articles have been published in several leading newspapers in India, such as in the Times of India –NIE, Mind field, The Assam Tribune, The Sentinel, Janambhumi, The Eastern Clarion, The Hitavada and Lokmat Times, Nagpur, Woman’s Era, The Criterion-an International Journal and several other regional magazines and journals.
